You really need to provide controls on the video so that it can be temporarily delayed while the video loads.

wow, those were superbly unprofessionally taken interviews.

To Brice and Ant: You two are truly jerks. There are people trapped and possibly dead and all you care about is to suggest controls and mock interviews. Shame on you, show some compassion, what if it were your family?

Isn’t the point of all this to relay the news? Who cares if there isn’t load buttons or if it was an unprofessional interview.. this is a sad ordeal!

it really is rediculous that you could complain about video controls at a time like this. thank you for saying what needed to be said, lisa.

I don’t live in Cache Valley anymore, but I follow your news. Many of the comments left online seem very trivial and small-minded to me. I hope it is just a few individuals and that it does not reflect the majority of Cache Valley citizens.

It is only a few individuals. If it were all of cache valley there would be about 70,000 posts.

Thanks for the backup t. I truly feel that there is only a select few that voice trivial yet petty concerns versus the majority that want to share their compassion to the families, friends and neighbors of this tragedy. My husband and I went to the site today to see if we could lend a hand, but we were turned away due to the overwhelming response from volunteers. I was not discouraged by this, I was grateful that so many people wanted to help. Thanks to the Herald Journal for keeping us updated on the situation. Finally, to ALL of the families affected by this tragedy, I am deeply sorry for what has happened. I was so proud that the Red Cross and the 25th Ward has stepped in during your time of need, by providing shelter and food. THANK YOU!

To Scott, and Johann…..THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for all that you have done for your neighbors and community. You guys have been through something that I hope no one ever has to go through again. You probably saved more lives than those jerks could EVER dream about. You tireless efforts will NEVER be forgotten especially to me. If any of these cowards that like to post trash in the wake of this awful tragedy want to come to your door, call me….I got your back 110%!!!!!!

The man with no shirt in the picture, is a true hero! He alerted so many people and saved many lives that day. If it wasn’t for his fast action and running out warning people of the disaster, many more people would have died. He was amazing and deserves a metal and respect for all he did. Logan should recognize this person, not be shallow enough to complain that he didn’t have a shirt on. Johann, thank you for saving my family’s lives!
