Yeah, you’re right Ben. Being the best basketball team in Utah makes the Aggies irrelevant. This will be the 2nd straight year USU will claim the Oquirrh Bucket. You’re also right in from the perspective that BYU will still lose the MWC conference tournament and lose in the first round of the NCAA’s, because getting blown out by Texas A&M 2 years running certainly makes you more relevant.

Just to let you Utahns know that as much as I love the Aggies, BYU is the school that the country knows. I should know. I’ve lived all over.

Travel: You don’t know what you are talking about. By far the majority of the people I’ve talked to in the various places I’ve lived know Utah better than they know BYU. I hate the Utes, the Cougs, and don’t particularly care for the Aggies, but BYU is certainly now the school that the country knows. What a joke.

You people make me laugh…..if you don’t care so much about USU then why are you on this forum making comments that you don’t care? Obviously you care or you wouldn’t be looking it up on the internet…..
I have a Bachelor’s degree from BYU — I tolerated the school and absolutely hated the general arrogance there. I earned a Master’s degree from USU and loved the school, the professors and the students. I know not everyone has this experience at BYU and it is a great school, but I was offered more alcohol and drugs at BYU than anywhere. I had roommates that were gay…and some that were RM’s that partied their way through school. They had sex in my apartment on the weekends. One friend of mine sold marijuana in the BYU bookstore. One of my roomates was Catholic and come to BYU to be on the ballroom dance team — that roommate was a better Mormon than my LDS roommates!
In stark contrast, at USU, I found real genuine LDS people with values that they lived. Yes, there are the partyin’ frats and fools at USU, but really…..I’ve been to both schools and USU is where the students kept the commandments.
Before you make a comment………..have you been to both schools?

My friend told me to look at the pics. I honestly don’t care and don’t really care what you think about either school to be honest. I have friends at both and I don’t care how they feel about it either. It’s just funny that you all act like the kid at the back of the class who is always strugglin to get his voice out. I have seen both campuses and been to games at both and BYU doesn’t allow the crap that USU has to do to get attention. They don’t need it.

Great pic! Reminds me of my time at USU. I recall waiting in line all day in a blizzard for tickets to a Big Monday game on ESPN against UNLV when they were dominant. Aggie fans are awesome and a big reason why it’s so difficult for Stew Morril to get quality opponents to play home & home with USU. What big name school wants to travel to Logan, Utah just to get their a** handed to them? BYU Ben may call the Ags irrelevant, but I assure you that the coaches and athletic directors at the big name schools across the country know exactly who the Aggies are.

I can’t believe Utah State fans come on this forum and tell us BYU is where the “bad” Mormons go. I’m all for jabs here and there but some of those signs were despicable. Are LDS students that go to USU really supporting that?

It’s cool that USU’s fans are loud and obnoxious at sports games. That’s what being a fan is about. But those signs definitely crossed the line between fun and just plain mean. I’m sorry but that’s not funny. At all. And if you support that then you’re an idiot.
