Seventy-five years! Amazing! Pat and Betty Barney are celebrating three quarters of a century together! Their journey together began on September 4, 1946 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Pat and Betty met while students at BYU, and have lived in Salt Lake City, UT; Moroni, UT; Portland, OR; Seattle, WA; Laie, HI; Las Vegas, NV; and Logan, UT. They have traveled to every continent in the world except Antarctica. It is only recently that they have remained — mostly — in Cache Valley. They have served missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Winnipeg, Canada and Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Their posterity now numbers more than 130. They have six children (Kathy Matthews of Oxnard, CA; David & Deedee Barney of Beaverton, OR; Bill & Judy Barney of Mesa, AZ; Larry & Sandra Barney of Mesa, AZ; Lynnelle & Jim Hite of Yuma, CA; and Shirlene & Greg Hicken of Logan, UT), 34 grandchildren, 90+ great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

We all are grateful for the continued love, support, and enduring example of faith and dedication that is exemplified in their every action and word. We love you Mom & Dad, Grandma & Grandpa!
