Lee and Norma (Clark) Richards celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 22 while serving in the Philippines Angeles LDS mission. They will be returning home Monday, July 23.

They have 5 children: Cole (Jenny); Delene (Matt); Monica; Traci (Jeff); and Jacki (Marcus). They have 17 grandchildren.

Lee and Norma were high school sweethearts. They were married in 1968 and started out in Fielding, UT. After Lee graduated from Utah State University they moved to Hyde Park, Utah and live there still.

Norma has worked for several businesses in the Cache Valley area. She enjoyed working at Morris Travel where she caught the travel bug and still loves going to all kinds of places with Lee and family. She recently retired from Utah State University where she worked in the Huntsman Scholar Program. She enjoys making lots of lifelong friends and spending time with her grandkids.

Lee was hired by Ellis Axtell at Axtell Chevrolet in 1971 and worked there as the business manager for over 40 years. He retired a few years ago but had a hard time leaving. He said “Why quit a job you love.” Norma finally talked him into it so they could serve an LDS mission. In his spare time he likes to ride his RZR and horses with friends and take his grandkids fishing.

We would like to wish our parents a very happy 50th! We love you so much! Thanks for many wonderful years and memories. We’re excited for many more to come!
