Lynn and Carolyn Kay of Logan are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married in Logan, Utah on November 27, 1968, and sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on October 6, 1978.

They are the parents of three children and ten grandchildren: Kerianne (Eric) Hoth of West Jordan, Utah; Brady (Christy) Kay of Idaho Falls, Idaho; and Clarissa (Tim) Campbell of North Logan, Utah. Their grandchildren are Harrison, Keri, Spencer, Kaylee, Hanna, Payton, Toby, Alina, Amelia and Kaitlyn.

Lynn and Carolyn met in the marching band while attending Utah State. After graduating from USU they were married and lived in Ogden and Salt Lake before returning to live in Logan. They have lived in Logan for 37 years.

Lynn worked as a photographer, spending 22 years working at Photo Services at Utah State. He also spent many years taking family and wedding photos. Carolyn taught school for a few years then stayed home to raise their children. When their kids were older she worked alongside Lynn at USU.

Friends and family of the couple are invited to celebrate with them at an open house on Saturday, November 24 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Hillcrest First Ward Building located at 875 N 1500 East in Logan, Utah.
