Ardyth Nelson McBride will celebrate her 90th birthday on November 22 with a fun-filled family gathering.

Ardyth was born in 1928 in Howell, Utah. Her parents are Norman Nelson and Elizabeth Datwyler Nelson. She grew up with three brothers and five sisters in Howell and Young Ward. She attended both Bear River and Cache High schools.

On May 29, 1947, she married Darrell McBride in the Logan LDS Temple. They settled in Hyrum, Utah, where they raised four sons and one daughter: Clair (Julie), Gary (Renee), David (Marilee), Debbie, and Nathan (Patti). Ardyth is grandma to 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. In addition to being a devoted mother, grandmother and homemaker, she also worked in the cafeteria at Lincoln Elementary School for 22 years.

As a life-long, faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Ardyth has willingly served in many church organizations. She especially enjoyed serving as Young Women Mia Maid leader for 25 years and as an officiator in the Logan Utah Temple for 16 years. She still loves to attend the temple.

Her many talents and interests have included dancing, singing, sewing, quilting, crocheting, attending plays and movies, reading books, watching sporting events (especially if her children or grandchildren were involved), playing games, associating with dear friends and spending as much time as possible with her wonderful family. She has always deeply loved and cared for her family, and she is well-loved in return.

From all of your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, we love you! And we wish you a delightful 90th birthday!
