RETURNING

Forrest Olson, son of Lynden and Monique Olson of Smithfield, returned Feb. 2 from the Germany Frankfurt Mission. He will speak at 11 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 19 in the Smithfield 22nd Ward.

Lee and Diann Burke of Logan will return Feb. 13 from the England London Mission. They will speak at 9 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 19 in the Lundstrom Park 3rd Ward, 1260 N. 1600 East, Logan.

Natalie Blair Johnson, daughter of Brian and Tora Johnson, returned Feb. 1 from the California Fresno Mission. She will speak at noon Sunday, Feb. 19 in the North Park Ward, 800 E. 2800 North, North Logan.

Kayla Erickson, daughter of Neil and Lori Erickson of Paradise, returned Jan. 30 from the Missouri St. Louis Mission. She will speak in church Sunday, Feb. 19.

n Sunday, Feb. 12: 9 a.m. non-traditional church service (Praise music) in Bruner Hall; 10 a.m. Sunday School; 11 a.m. traditional service (organ and choir music) — social to follow both services

n Monday, Feb. 13: Chancel Choir practice in sanctuary, 5:30-6:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Choir sings most Sundays at the 11 a.m. service; Middle School Youth Group, 5:30-8 p.m. in the Green Room below Bruner Hall. All community middle school students are invited — use west entrance for access. Youth time consists of fun with games, a meal and Bible study.

n Tuesday, Feb. 14: Bible study in sanctuary, 7 p.m. Rev. Derek Forbes will be teaching.

TEMPLE SQUARE

n Saturday, Feb. 18 — Utah Premiere Brass will perform in the Assembly Hall on Temple Square at 7:30 p.m. This concert is free and open to ages eight and older; no tickets needed. Under the direction of Kirt Saville, this British-style brass band will perform Peter Smalley’s arrangement of Robert Schuman’s Conzerstuck for 4 Horns, op. 86; Howard Snell’s arrangement of Ottorino Respighi’s Pines of Rome (Pines of the Appian Way); and other musical selections.

n BYU Winterfest: Brigham Young University performing groups will perform in the LDS Conference Center Theater during the month of February as part of BYU Winterfest. Tickets are required and cost $12 per person. Tickets can be obtained by calling (801) 570-0080 or online at www.lds.org/events.
