John and Suzann Winn of Smithfield, Utah would like to announce the marriage of their daughter Sheri Ann to Brendan John McCarty son of Paul and Mary Anne McCarty of South Jordan, Utah. They will be married on Thursday, June 28, 2018, at the Winn Residence in Smithfield, Utah. A Reception will be held that evening from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Winn Residence, located at 1351 Mountain View Drive, Smithfield, Utah. An Open House will also be held the evening of Saturday, July 14th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the McCarty Residence, located at 9472 S Kirkside Drive, South Jordan, Utah.

Sheri is a 2007 graduate of Sky View High School. From 2010 to 2011, Sheri served an LDS mission in the California Los Angeles Mission. In 2015 Sheri graduated from Utah State University with a bachelors in health education and promotion and in global communication with a Spanish minor. Sheri works as a Community Health Education Specialist in the Injury Prevention Program at the Salt Lake County Health Department in West Jordan.

Brendan is a 2006 graduate of Bingham High School. From 2006 to 2008, Brendan served an LDS mission in the Raleigh North Carolina Mission. In 2016 Brendan graduated from Utah State University with a degree in finance. Brendan currently works as an underwriter for Bank of The West in Salt Lake City. While attending Utah State Sheri and Brendan met on a blind date. A mutual friend set them up and they clicked instantly.

Together Sheri and Brendan enjoy laughing at funny videos, hiking and traveling. After a honeymoon to North Carolina, the couple will reside in the Salt Lake Valley. The couple would like to thank all their family and friends for their love and support as they embark on this new adventure.

They would also like to thank, Paige Winn, Kathy Wilcox, Mary Anne McCarty, Megan Wouden, and Kylie Nielson for hosting wonderful bridal showers for the bride and groom. Sheri and Brendan are registered at Walmart, Target and Smithfield Implement.
