SALES PROFESSIONALS The Herald Journal is seeking consultative sales professionals to represent our entire suite of print and digital advertising pportunities to both existing and prospective customers. You will work to contact clients both in person via phone, and by email. You will be responsible for conducting client needs analysis and developing and proposing multi-media advertising campaigns that will achieve the client’s goals. You will need to learn proprietary software programs to schedule ads and order ad layouts. We offer an impressive variety of marketing solutions for businesses including print advertising in our weekly and three-day weekly newspapers, print advertising in magazines and other special publications, digital advertising, email marketing, and more. The ideal candidate is: Experienced in sales; ad sales preferred. A self-starter; able to set personal goals and meet them. A team player; knows that together we are better. Enjoys forging new relationships, with great communication skills. Organized, able to perform with excellence under deadline. Comfortable using technology. Creative, with solid grammar and spelling skills. Has demonstrated success in sales. This position pays a base plus commission with unlimited earning potential.
