To the editor:
The Oct. 3, article, BSafe Haven,C about the Child and Family Support Center, was well written and non-sexist (one sex wasn?t unfairly bashed as predominant abusers). As all reputable studies show, domestic violence goes both ways, equal opportunity, regardless of size. This was a nice example for other reporters and for other domestic violence, advocacy and support agencies. If you give a gender specific story on one side, balance it with and equal account from the other gender. There are equal accounts both ways. The article told of an organization and it?s director openly and equally supporting and teaching to help stop abuse on both sides. The Child and Family Support Center interim director, Esterlee Molyneux, is an excellent parenting teacher, as I hear from others too.
