The topic for the second lecture in Logan's "Green Futures Learning Series: A pathway to better living" is "Renewable Technology: Economic & Environmental Viability." The lecture will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, in Logan City Hall's public conference room, 290 N. 100 West.

A panel of speakers will address the topic of renewable energy resources and give an overview of large-scale solar PV installations, the techno-economics of renewable technologies and help people learn about Logan's power resources and community solar farm.

Featured speakers include: Byard Wood (emeritus professor of mechanical engineering), Jason Quinn (Utah State University), Matt Perry (Campbell Scientific) and Mark Montgomery (Logan City Light and Power director). This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
