The family of Ralph and Marian Stephenson honored their parents on their 70th wedding anniversary at a family dinner. Ralph and Marian were married on April 14, 1948, in the Logan LDS Temple.

Ralph was born and lived in Smithfield, Utah. He attended North Cache High School. Following graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He later married Marian, his high school sweetheart. He spent his lifetime in the floor covering business until he retired in April 1992. He served as counselor in two Bishoprics, as financial clerk, in the young men’s presidency and in the Elder’s Quorum Presidency.

Marian was born and lived in Hyde Park, Utah. She attended North Cache High School. Following graduation she worked in the law offices of Perry and Heinrich and then worked for Cache Valley Electric Company. She took time off to raise their family. She later returned to work at Cache Valley Electric Company as a secretary and administrative assistant until she retired in 1994. She has served in the Relief Society, primary, and young women.

They are parents of four children: Karen (Kim) Marshall; Robert (KaraLee) Stephenson; Michael (Sandy) Stephenson; and Suzanne (David) Drysdale. They have 17 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren who are the delight of their lives.

Over the years, they have enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, volunteering and being with their family.
