It’s been a busy week at A.J. Winters Elementary! Early in the week, the AJ Winters PTO, with Sara Lusk at the helm, put on a fantastic Halloween Carnival and a scavenger hunt for families! Many volunteers donated their time and talents to make the evening a success. Games and delicious food, sponsored by Samson’s Island Grill, Jolara Lanes, and Canyon Road Confections, kept families having a great time together.

A raffle included prizes from eight local businesses. Twelve more businesses all around town served as the locations for the scavenger hunt. Kids deciphered clues and arrived at businesses, which donated their time and a treat or a prize for the children. Many, many thanks to everyone who supported this excellent PTO activity in ways big and small!
