The funeral for the Latter-day Saint missionary from Hyde Park who died while serving a two-year mission in the Dominican Republic has been set.
The viewing services for Brennan Alexander Conrad will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 3, and the funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Logan East Stake Center, 1450 E. 1500 North.
The Conrad family expressed gratitude for all of the people working to get Conrad’s body home. In a statement on the Hailey-Braxton Conrad Facebook account, the family expressed gratitude for the love and support from the community.
“This past week has been a rollercoaster but we have seen so many tender mercies and appreciate all the kind gestures, thoughts and prayers,” the family stated. “We feel your prayers. We have felt peace through the storm and are grateful for our Savior’s love.”
The family also asks that the community donate to the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Missionary fund in lieu of flowers. A full obituary will appear in the March 1 edition of The Herald Journal and online at legacy.com/obituaries/hjnews.
