A 16-year-old Weston girl and her friend who went missing from a therapeutic foster home in Colorado earlier this month have been found, according to the girl's parents.

James and Xochithl Frankman said they are relieved that their daughter, Anna, has been found. Anna and friend Emma Stokes were located Wednesday in Colorado.

"She is safe and will be OK," Xochithl said. "We love our community and are so grateful for their support."

Until the investigation into their disappearance is complete, no more information is available, she said. The girls left their therapeutic foster care home in Park County, Colorado, on July 7. They were listed as endangered in reports because it was presumed they didn't have access to necessary medication during that time.
