Back in April, Utah State University announced that the search for a new USU Police Chief was underway to replace previous chief Michael Kuehn. Now, two candidates for the position will be giving presentations on the Logan campus in the Merrill-Cazier Library, and the community is invited.
Earl Morris, who most recently served as the director of public safety for Brigham Young University Hawaii, will present at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, in the library, room 101. Morris is a USU alumnus and a graduate of the Utah Police Academy and the FBI National Academy.
Kevin Gillilan will be presenting at 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, in the library, room 101. Gillilan is currently the chief of police at the University of North Alabama. He has been certified as a criminal investigator and a computer forensic investigator.
