Strong winds, with gusts up to 50 mph, are expected to hit parts of northern Utah beginning Monday night and continuing through Wednesday.
According to the National Weather Service, the strongest winds are expected near Centerville, Farmington, Weber Canyon and canyons near Brigham City and Logan — but downslope winds may affect the entire area from North Salt Lake to Tremonton.
Strong crosswinds will affect traffic on Interstate 15 and U.S. 89 throughout that area, and residents are advised to secure outdoor furniture, trampolines and any other objects that could become airborne. The gusty winds are expected to continue through Wednesday morning.
