SALT LAKE CITY, Nov. 18, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Lipocine Inc. (NASDAQ:LPCN), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on metabolic and endocrine disorders, today announced the closing of a public offering of (i) 10,450,000 Class A Units, each consisting of shares of its common stock and common warrants to purchase its common stock and (ii) 1,550,000 Class B Units consisting of pre-funded warrants and warrants to purchase its common stock, at a price of $0.50 per Class A Unit and $0.4999 per Class B Unit, for total gross proceeds to the Company of approximately $6.0 million, before deducting placement agent fees and other estimated offering expenses. The Company intends to use the net proceeds from this offering for working capital and general corporate purposes.

Roth Capital Partners acted as sole agent for the public offering.
