Brandon Thorpe Bagley (52) passed away of unexpected health complications on March 9, 2023, in Redwood City, California. He was born October 23, 1970, in Ogden, Utah, to Penny Peterson and William C. Bagley. Brandon was raised in Providence, Utah. He was a graduate of Mountain Crest High School and graduated with honors in Business and Finance from Utah State University. Brandon was driven and ambitious, starting and owning small businesses early on and then chasing his dreams and a successful career in grocery and retail across the United States. His interest in the grocery industry began early when he won the 1990 National Grocers' Association "Best Bagger" Contest. After college graduation, he officially began his career with Smith 's Food and Drug Centers. He continued working in grocery and retail, specializing in the natural and organic foods market, and serving in senior leadership positions with many companies, including Wild Oats and Whole Foods (CO), Sprouts Farmers Market (CA), Wisdom Natural Brands (AZ), and The Fresh Market (NC). Brandon was fun loving and filled with life. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed various youth activities. He loved being with friends and had many. Those who knew Brandon, also knew of his nice cars which he loved to own and drive. He loved sports, especially golf and cheering for his favorite team, the Seahawks. He spent many hours in the outdoors with family and friends. While these interests remained, his true love shifted over the years to his daughter Sabrina Valentine (11), who truly was the gem of his life. He enjoyed spending every minute he could with her, attending her activities and creating memories traveling with her and his family. Brandon was filled with love and compassion for anyone who needed it. He made friends easily and was a great boss and mentor to many. He was incredibly bright, kind, generous, driven and a very loyal friend. Brandon touched so many lives and is a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend that will be greatly loved and sorely missed by all. In addition to his parents, Brandon is survived by his wife, Danna Brown Bagley, daughter, Sabrina (11), and step-daughter, Cassi Davis. He is also survived by his two brothers, Brett (Tomela) of Mountain View, California, and Brady (Lisa) of South Jordan, Utah, along with several loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. The family wishes to express their gratitude to all those who have shared memories with and been a part of Brandon's life over the years. Funeral services celebrating Brandon's life will be held at 2pm, Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Allen Hall Mortuary, located at 34 East Center, Logan, Utah. There will be a viewing on Friday, March 17, 2023, from 5-7pm and prior to the funeral services on Saturday from 12:30-1:30pm at Allen Hall Mortuary. Brandon will be laid to rest in the Logan City Cemetery. Services will be under the direction of Allen-Hall Mortuary, Logan, Utah.
