United States Post Office - Dave Smith began working as the new mail supervisor at the Preston Post Office in December 2018. He has lived in Preston for five years, commuting to the Logan, Utah Post Office. He replaces Vicky Nartker, who was promoted to be the postmaster in Wellsville, Utah.

Franklin County - Heather Coburn moved from the drivers license office to the county clerk’s office, with the election of County Clerk Camille Larsen.  Dulce Bumpus , who was a dispatcher, was hired to run the drivers license office. 

West Motor - Nate Romrell is the new manager of West Motor Ford. He’d been with Wilson Motor in Logan. High school students Travis Ward, Cooper Roundy and Jackson Porter, are working in the sales department. Dawson Pitcher is new in the service department. He returned to the company after taking a year off to go to school. Tom Lewis joined the company’s parts department. 

Health West Clinic - Howard Willis, a Pocatello native, is the new doctor. He came from Cheyenne, where he has worked as a doctor since 2002.  Willis and his wife are looking for the right spot to settle down, where she can care for her herd of goats.

Willow Valley Medical Clinic - Dr. Chelsey Morrison 

Preston School District - Scott Kunz is retiring as a Spanish and speech teacher at Preston High School.

Thayne Winward closed his own accounting office, but will continue to do accounting and taxes with Travis Kunz, and his office on State Street.
