Idaho Festival of Lights committee members were pleased with the 2018 event which took place last weekend in Preston.
“The festival was fabulous!” said committee member Sue Conklin.
“There were 10 entries in the bed race, Santa gave out four cases of books, Devin Rae and the Christmas music sounded great, the fireworks were awesome and we had 20 parade entries! “
Many parents brought their children to enjoy the Lions Club’s free movie, popcorn and a drink at the Worm Creek Theater.
“That being said, we do make lists of things to make it better each year. We are always open to suggestions,” said Conklin. Other board members are her husband, Craig, Neysa Daley, Julie Johnson, Allyson Wadsworth, Sharla Thain and Terry Green.
The festival was first organized in the 1980’s.
