The Lady Indians picked up a road win over Soda Springs on Nov. 17. They traveled to Sugar-Salem on Nov. 19 and hosted Logan on Nov. 22 (scores not available at press time). The Indians will then have a break until Dec. 2.

At Soda Springs, Preston trailed 9-10 at the end of the first quarter but was able to gain a little momentum in the second and tie it up 20-20. The girls were able to keep that edge in the second half and take the lead 29-26 going into the final frame.

In the fourth quarter Preston extended its lead for a 46-37 win. Riley Ward led the team with 12 points followed by Mickayla Robertson with 11. Amber Anderson added seven, Akazia Knapp six, Emma Kunz and Hailey Meek five each. Knapp finished with eight boards.

Though Meek did not put up a lot of points she had three blocks, matched Robertson with five steals and nearly matched Knapp with seven rebounds.

All in all it was a good effort for the Indians, who hope to be able to keep the rhythm they were able to find in the fourth quarter going.
