Blue Mountain Community College in Pendleton in Oregon has benefitted from the talents of Preston graduate Sadie Garner. She has been their starting second baseman during her two years at the school.

Garner graduates in June with an Associate’s of Arts Oregon Transfer. She is on the Dean’s List and has offers from Universities in Minot North Dakota, Salem Oregon and Sanford California to continue her softball career. Garner will keep following her dreams in both education and softball at the next level after graduation.

Treasure Valley Community College also had a positive experience with Preston athletes. Jessica Whiteley was TVCC’s number one middle blocker and a starter as a freshman in the 2018 season. Whiteley started and played every game. She and Julia Nartker, “the twin towers from Preston,” said Mitch Whiteley, “helped turn around a struggling program for a winning record on the season.”

Nartker was also a starter for the Warriors as a freshman in the 2018 season and made a similar impact on the TVCC program as a middle blocker.
