Last Friday and Saturday, Halloween enthusiasts braved rainy and blustery conditions to attend the second annual Tremonton Area Pumpkin Walk, which debuted last year at Holmgren Nature Preserve and Trail and was moved to Shuman Park this year to be closer to downtown.

Creative scenes this year ranged from a “zoo” with pumpkins decorated as various animals created by the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Utah, a display from USU with pumpkins made up to resemble the university’s famous Aggie Ice Cream, a game-themed display from the local 4-H club, and a variety of entries created by local Cub Scout Pack 636, among others.

The event was organized by Tremonton City and GFWC Women’s Civic League. While admission was free, donations were accepted to help fund various local projects undertaken by the Civic League.
