The Utah Department of Transportation has begun work on a rehabilitation project on Main Street (State Road 102) in Tremonton. This project will extend the life of the current roadway and provide a smoother ride for motorists.

This work is scheduled to be completed by the end of July.

Repaving will be working east from I-84 to SR-13 (1600 East/5200 West). Most project work is projected to occur at night, Monday through Saturday from 6 p.m. to 10 a.m. During construction times, traffic will be reduced to one lane and flagging operations will direct traffic in alternating directions. Please pay close attention to the directions of these safety personnel.

For local residents, there will be no parking within the project limits during construction times, so residents should park vehicles in their own driveways or plan to leave their vehicles in alternate locations nearby. Motorists should expect delays up to 15 minutes during work hours and may want to consider alternative routes. Please travel slowly through the construction zone and follow posted signs.

Residents in the area may notice an increase of noise during the construction hours, but business accesses will be maintained. There may be occasional Sunday work throughout the project. As with all work of this nature, construction activities are subject to change based on weather and equipment availability.
